From egg hunts to beer festivals, April in Nashville is packed. Here are the best events happening across the city and the surrounding area this spring.
Spring in Nashville doesn’t politely knock. It shows up with festivals, egg hunts, cold beer, and enough sunshine to make you feel like you made a very good life decision. If you’ve been waiting for a reason to get out of the house, April hands you about a dozen of them.

Easter Weekend
Families, this one’s for you. Nashville and the surrounding area have a few standout options:
- Eggstravaganzoo at Nashville Zoo (April 4, 9 am to 5 pm): The Zoo’s annual egg hunt is included with regular admission or membership. It’s one of the most popular Easter events in the city, and it shows. Arrive with time to spare.
- Lucky Ladd Farms (4306 Rocky Glade Rd., Eagleville): About 35 minutes south of Nashville, Lucky Ladd Farms runs Easter egg hunts and farm activities on April 3 and 4. Open air, a little mud, kids in heaven.
Panda Fest
April 3-5 | Fair Park, 2300 Bransford Ave
Over 80 Asian food vendors, cultural performances, and a 15-foot inflatable panda. A genuinely fun weekend and a good reflection of how much this city has grown. Friday runs 4-10 pm, Saturday 10 am-10 pm, Sunday 10 am-8 pm. Get tickets and details here.
Nashville Comedy Festival
April 9-19 | Various venues across the city
Eleven days of stand-up, improv, and general laughing-out-loud spread across Nashville. The lineup includes Kevin James, David Spade, and Kathy Griffin, among others. Check the full schedule for show times, venues, and tickets before your picks sell out.
East Nashville Beer Festival
April 11 | East Park | Noon to 5 pm | 21+
Fifty-plus breweries, one park, one very good afternoon. Nashville’s 15th annual spring beer festival also features live music and, yes, live wrestling. Grab tickets before they go and, if you haven’t spent much time in East Nashville, make a full day of it.

Nashville Cherry Blossom Festival
April 12 | Public Square Park | Free
This one’s a crowd favorite for good reason. Public Square Park fills up with Japanese cultural performances, food trucks, and a 2.5-mile walk that somehow feels more like a stroll when the trees look that good. It’s free, it’s family-friendly, and it books up the sidewalks fast. Show up early.

Path of Glory Flag Display at The Hermitage
Starting mid-April | Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage
Starting mid-April, 1,776 American flags go up on the grounds of Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage to mark the country’s 250th anniversary. It’s a serious, beautiful installation and a good reminder that Nashville’s history goes a lot deeper than Broadway. Plan your visit here.
April Is a Good Month to Fall in Love With This City
If you’re weighing a move to Middle Tennessee, April is genuinely one of the best months to be here. The communities across the Nashville area each have their own energy this time of year. Spend a weekend bouncing between neighborhoods and let the city do the talking.
